How does Scalapay work?

Scalapay allows you to pay for your order in 3 installments, without interest and in total security.

Select Scalapay as your payment method at checkout.

After confirming your order details, you will be asked to log in to your Scalapay account to complete the payment. If you don't have one, you can create one from the Scalapay login page, before completing the order.

Add a debit, credit or prepaid card from which the installments will be taken.

Wait for payment approval, once received, with the finalization of the order you will pay the first installment, the following ones will be charged in the following two months.

An email will remind you when the installment payment occurs.

Installment deadline

At the time of purchase you will be immediately charged the first installment. The next 2 installments will be charged on a monthly basis.

● First installment: at the time of purchase
● Second installment: 1 month from the day of purchase
● Third and final installment: 2 months from the day of purchase.

Scalapay will inform you a few days before each installment is due via SMS and email.

If one or more of your scheduled installments are not paid correctly by the due date, you will be charged a late payment fee. If you have not made the payment before the due date and the automatic payment fails, you will have 24 hours to complete the payment. If this does not happen, Scalapay will apply late payment fees as explained below:

● Payment made by the due date = no additional costs!
● Payment made more than 1 day late = up to 6 euros in additional costs
● Payment made more than 1 week late = additional 6 euros (in addition to the first commission, up to a maximum of 12 euros for each payment).

The total cost of the commissions cannot exceed 15% of the value of the loan (second and third instalments).

Payments accepted

To use Scalapay, you need to link a payment method to your account. Installments will be automatically charged to your default method.
Scalapay accepts all major credit and debit cards of the VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS circuits and the main prepaid cards (including Postepay).
